How I'm beating Endo


Here's how I'm beating it...
1.  Live alkaline. Alkalinity is important as it will reduce inflammation and the ability for inflammation to rule your body
2.  Here are a list of the cleanses I have gone thru.  I did each one separately with about a month in between each one.  For all cleanses I f\removed meat from the menu while on the cleanse and went all plant based.
  • Yeast cleanse first because it gave me immediate results (took 5 months to get rid of the candida, but candida is the cause of many of our disorders).  For more information on candida you can find it on mercola.com or google it.
    • Probiotics (1 daily - Natren or Garden of Life)
    • Yeast Cleanse - by solaray (follow the bottle)
    • Chlorophyll (2 x's daily 1 tsp to an ounce)
    • Nutrition - focus on veggies (as much raw as possible) fruits (grapefruit, lemon and berries) nuts, seeds and fish (NOTHING ELSE)
  • Gallbladder cleanse
    • Lemon and Olive oil before bed (you can get a recipe for this online) Drink it right before bed and lay on your side
    • Gallstonex - by Solaray (follow the bottle)
    • Probiotics (1 daily - Natren or Garden of Life)
    • Chlorophyll (2x's daily - liquid)
    • Nutrition stick with Yeast cleanse diet
  • Kidney and Liver Cleanse
    • Milk Thistle (follow the bottle - liquid)
    • Marshmallow root tea ( 1 tsp to 1 tblspn in a cup of hot water - heat the water add the marshmallow - blend in a blender and drink - tastes like lima bean :) )
    • Dandelion root (tablespoon in the am/pm)
    • Total Kidney Cleanse - by Solaray (follow the bottle)
    • Probiotic (Natren or Garden of Life - 1 time a day)
    • Chlorophyll (2 x's daily - liquid is best)
    • Nutrition - stick with yeast cleanse diet
  • Heavy Metal Detox and Overall Colon Cleanse

I've done all of these cleanses in the last year and have focused on the 6 listed items.  I finally feel like my body is starting to heal and get better.  The endometriosis pains are gone and I now manage with the following items:

Why I chose Chiropractic to help me heal...

I was born a breach baby which meant I was trying to come out backwards, that in itself makes me wonder if I started questioning the process from inside the womb?  Was there a better way for me to make my entrance?  Or maybe I was really saying no, no I'm not ready just leave me be.   Either way it has always got me thinking of new ways of doing things.  Ask questions.  Your questions are important and especially if they pertain to you, your health and well being.

Whether it was the fact that I ended up being pulled out by forceps or just that I was lucky I developed scoliosis early on and my dad elected to take me to the chiropractor to get me straightened out.  Some will say that my dad was crazy for taking me, while others will say that was the smartest move he ever made. I believe in chiropractic as long as you find one that has the same purpose as you do... to help your body heal itself from the inside out.

Over the years I've probably seen 10 different chiropractors and while they all had their good parts I had reached a point that I did not feel like my body was healing anymore.  I had plateaued.  I don't blame them, I blame myself for not paying attention to my body.  It was time to find someone who could make a difference.  I knew there were still issues going on internally and I knew that the only way to turn the power on was to find that doctor that could take me to the next level.

In 2010, I found her Dr. Dionne Kellogg of New Life Chiropractic a Maximized Living Center in Brentwood TN.  Since beginning my treatment with her my neck has already experienced a 9% curve increase.  This was an increase on a neck that was trying to go the wrong way with no curve whatsoever.  My headaches were non-stop, my immune system kept crashing which brought on more allergies.  Since I started seeing her my headaches are almost non-existent and my body is feeling better than it has in a very long time.  Partner my visits to her with good nutrition and I now have a body that is working together to heal me.

Who Needs Chiropractic?

Did you know that when a spinal bone (vertebra) is out of alignment, it can interfere with the messages sent throughout your body meant to heal itself. If the affected nerve happens to be carrying a message to the kidneys, the function of the kidneys can be altered. If the nerve is taking instructions from the brain to the heart, that organ's function may be disrupted.
The fact is, the health of every part of the body depends on the proper flow of nerve energy. If that normal flow is interrupted or interfered with, the result is dis-ease. Some part of the body will not be able to function at peak performance.
Chiropractic care offers an opportunity to locate misalignments in the vertebrae, called subluxations. Once a  spinal adjustment is used to correct these subluxations the bones are then allowed to go back to their proper positions, allowing for normal energy flow.

How it works?

Food for thought... if a patient contracts HIV(human immune virus) and continues to live the lifestyle that got them the HIV to begin with, then the CDC estimates that the average lifespan is 8-10 years before it turns into AIDS(auto immune deficiency). AIDS appears through "opportunistic" diseases. An opportunistic disease is one that preys on a weak immune system. Once it has become AIDS, patients on average have an 18 month life expectancy. [ref:2007 Howard Hughes Medical Institute study from the evolution to the epidemic of AIDS]

If this is true, does it not make you curious that if a person were to change their lifestyle which caused the "immune deficiencies" is it then possible that you could improve your lifestyle to diminish your deficiency, fight off bad cells, create new ones, and ultimately give an eviction notice to any unwelcome inhabitants?

Look at alcoholism...keep drinking and it will continue to deteriorate your body.  Keep smoking and eventually you will not be able to breathe.  If you have any disorder in your body you ultimately know that a change needs to take place.  I am hypoglycemic, allergic to dairy and gluten so I know that I should avoid sugar, dairy, wheat, pasta, and many other products processed with gluten.   If continue adding these items to my food then my body pays a price, and ultimately I am causing my own deterioration.

Living in moderation and balance can be a challenge especially when we are all faced with external stress, challenge and life in general.  We all have choices, and we all can learn how to better take care of ourselves if we really want to.

Combine a strategy of "Lifestyle Change" with positive mental "BELIEF" make your body, mind and soul the strongest it can be and I believe you can improve your life, change your life, and even heal your life

 












There are never any guarantees, I might walk outside later and get hit by a bus. This is a simple suggestion that if we could remove all thoughts of what we've been taught and learn a new set of disciplines to live by what do we have to lose? A better life, without pain? Either way we will have a better experience here or after, why not try it's better than the alternative, not trying.

Paying attention

Today I awoke remembering a dream I had, had the night before. I was with my husband and a dear friend and we were traveling. It felt like it was the end of an era. Along the way I ran into my sister and she needed my help. After I helped her we ended up in a fishing town. A man approached me who was larger than life and pointed to the sky. The sky was intense and it looked like it was about to rain terror over us all. Everyone around me was scared, but somehow I knew everything would be ok. The man who now stood to my left said "it will be ok" and put his arms out for me. It felt like people had given up on the world, so the world had turned on people. Out of fear I started to pray to wake up... I knew that if we could wake up we could start again, we would have another chance. I believe there is still time for us, we can be better, get better, love one another and encourage each other.

When I awoke I started my morning meditation with my tarot cards. Using my tarot cards help me focus on positive thoughts for the day. I began asking my questions and here are my interpretations.

Receptivity

Open my mind to all ideas. Stay open! A seed has been planted and now it is time to sow and grow.

Harmony

Today there are many peaceful, harmonious things that await me. Gravitate towards your heart and harmony.

Upside Down - Source

Move forward. I have been learning and watching the seeds that have been planted and some aspects are coming to completion. The dream that you just experienced is to show you that you still have time to plant more. Do the work.

Upside Down - Past Life

You are ready to move on to new heights. Today is a day of careful movement but movement is necessary. You understand your karmic responsibility and reason for existing and now is the time to help others.

Upside Down - New Vision

Take the vision you have that you have always had and make sure it reaches others. You are in touch with all you manifest so starting today you can build yourself up just as easily as you can tear yourself apart.

My Journey My Dandelion Miracle....

You know after everything I'd been told my body needed to take, to mask the pain to help me cope I found something that really helps me and when I say it helps me... it helps me in more ways than one.

Living with endo & how I am evicting him

Oh the pain pain pain in my side...it's been there for over a decade. How do I get rid of it? The doctor's would like me to have another operation and treat me with hormone therapy for the rest of my life.

What? The rest of my life? I have alot of life still to live I am still in my 30's for goodness sake. They've already taken my right ovary and my uterus. I don't want anymore surgeries nor do I think it's necessary. I started researching endo and found another person who was talking about her experiences from the UK. She was diagnosed with one of the worst cases 6 years ago and she decided to embark on a journey to reverse. Reverse it? is it possible...

Let's take a minute to recap what is causing it:

Genetics?
Environment?
Toxins?
Denying true love of self?
Nutrition?
Balance?
Hormones?

Yes it is true both my mother and my grandmother had it, so that means I should have it? I could allow this type of thinking if I really believed in it, but I don't. Why should I believe for one second that something is what it is because that is what I've been told? If we all believed what we were told without investigating or questioning then we would have never evolved the way we have. Thankfully our brains are smarter than that and we have the ability to change the way we think, feel and believe... if we want to. I completely believe that genetics or not once you have identified the issue you need to research the possibility of it being reversed. Sure there are some diseases out there that this would not work on, but for the most part there are many that can be reversed and I believe that ENDO is one of them.

How am I changing it?

Your perception of what is and what isn't possible could be all the difference you need.

Change your Language!

How you speak to yourself, about yourself and others may directly effect your body physically.

1)Tell your body you love it.
2)Give positive affirmations to yourself daily.
3)Give positive feedback to others.

Give to yourself!

If there is no you then none of this will really matter.

1)Make time for proper nutrition. Find out what your body type needs and might be missing.
2)Eat organic food without hormones, steroids, other chemical toxins and preservatives.
3)Focus on 'LIVE' food... fruits and vegetables(especially green ones)
4)Try to maintain an alkaline diet...it is hard for disease to live in an alkaline body.
5)Supplement nutrition with quality herbs, vitamins, aminos and minerals
6)Exercise - even if it's just walking around the block everyday
7)Yoga - there are many forms of yoga and probably one of the best that can be done by anyone is Dahn Hak, they even have videos that specialize on people who may have disabilities or debilitating disorders.
8)Make time for meditation - it is not only important to help you with perception, but it is great for clearing your mind and relieving stress
9)Limit stress - Try to align yourself with positive people and if learn to let go of situations you may be trying to control. The only true thing you have control over is how you respond.
10)Cry - Schedule time to release your stress through crying. Don't wait till it's bottled up and there's no return, schedule a night for yourself to let it go.
11)Give yourself 'me' time. You deserve it. Watch a movie, take a bath, make your favorite meal, read a book or any other thing that brings you joy.
12)Regularly see an acupuncturists... their methods for helping your body heal are phenomenal and you deserve it.
13)Regularly see a chiropractor... I would suggest a "Maximized Living" chiropractor because their approach to healing encompasses supporting a healthy spine with routine exercise, nutrition and supplementation.
14)Regularly see a massage therapist... YOU DESERVE IT.
15)Another great idea is to see a Reiki healer. Everything is made from energy and Reiki healers focus on healing your energy.

Give to others!
By helping others your naturally begin to help yourself.

1)Help people or animals today. Volunteer.
2)Practice random acts of kindness.
3)Donate to charity.

Yes it is true that many of these suggestions might cost something, however, how much does the surgery cost, the second surgery, third, fourth? How much are you worth? How much do you spend on medications? How much are your groceries now? What is your health worth to you?

My family went from spending almost $200 a week to $70 a week on groceries when we made the switch to organic and cooking for ourselves.

TIPS ON SHOPPING & SAVING

1)When does your grocery store have more sales? We found that Mondays were the best day to get deals.
2)When buying organic produce shop the sales, shop for reasonable prices and don't buy if it seems excessive.
3)When you shop only in produce and meats you automatically eliminate processed foods.
4)Processed foods actually cost more on average and when you stop buying them you will notice a change in your food bill.
5)Watch the local papers for sales and coupons.
6)Make a menu and grocery list for the week before heading out to the store.

By taking better care of yourself in the long run you will actually end up spending less, it's only when we get impatient and allow for quick solutions and what we think are easy fixes to become apart of life that we spend more both in money and resources.
