Need a natural perspective on attacking your cold?

Feeling stuffy, headache, throat sore?  Try to have  olive leaf every four hours even long after you start feeling better. This way you keep your good gut flora and avoid the antibiotics. Rebuild with Probiotics (Nucific, apple cider vinegar, Healthy Trinity, etc) in water with lemon and ginger to alkalize. Minerals for that too(pink sea salt). They say disease cannot live in an alkaline, well oxygenated body.(water:)

No gluten
(respiratory).
No dairy (mucus).
No sugar (yeast/bacteria).

Lot's of hormone/gmo/pesticide/cage/grain 'free' bone broth.(Preferably bird, pollock).

Good time to heal the lining of your gut try to avoid drinking alcohol:). If you have it as soup, NO noodles and no meat while you're sick. Let your body focus on healing.  Plant based foods are easier for our bodies to break down.  Think of a Gorilla... what do they eat?  Fruits and Vegetables.   And unless you have pneumonia, you DON'T need antibiotics. They do more bad than good in this case. You can always Google the difference between bacterial and a viral infections.

Been studying a bacteria called Mycoplasma for the last 2 years for 1-3 hours a day trying trying to make sense of a very complicated little bug responsible for so many illnesses(including the common cold) and like the legal and tax code, microbiology is very complex.  Working on laying it out in an easy to understand language in a website called MycoplasmaInfection.org coming very soon. Strategic protocols including antibiotics are needed for each individual strain so the global market for Mycoplasma testing is growing at a staggering pace as people with Cancer tumors, Lyme, Gulf War Syndrome and neurological disorders discover that this little bug is quite possibly a culprit.  There's a plethora of antibacterial herbs in capsule form and tinctures I would recommend but so far olive leaf seems to be the kryptonite for Mycoplasma.

Ultimately if you focus on avoiding the things that may stress your body out while you are trying to fight off the overload of distress you can recover quicker and get back to your normal activities.  For me a here is a sample schedule of what I might do to heal quick:

  1. Don't eat for 24 hours
  2. DO drink at least 50% of your body weight in ounces
    • Spring Water
    • Distilled water with added minerals (concentrace by Trace Minerals is great)
    • Oxygenated water with added minerals
    • Tea
    • Lemon water
    • Coconut Water
  3. When you do eat keep it easy and simple:
    • Veggie Broth
    • Chicken Bone Broth
    • Sour fruits (lemon, lime, grapefruit, green apple, berries)
    • Sweet potato
    • Banana
    • Avocado

Is Candida the missing link to your unexplained health issues?

Find out if you have CANDIDA today take the quiz!

Yeasts are single cell fungi living organisms that are neither animal nor vegetable. They live on the surfaces of all living things, including fruits, vegetables, grains, and your body. They're a part of the "microflora" which contribute in various ways to the health of their host. Yeast itself is nutritious, and small amounts of yeast give bread its light taste. To understand Candida I recommend buying the book "The Yeast Connection".
Is Candida the missing link to your unexplained health issues?

The Nuclear Periphery and the Oncogenic Protein Mlp/Tpr: Functional Studies of its Yeast Homolog
As reported by The Rockefeller University the instructions encoded in the DNA presented in each cell are at the heart of regulating cell growth and development in organisms as diverse as yeast and humans. Exciting recent discoveries point to how it is not just changes in the instructions themselves, but how they are organized and controlled, that cause cancers.

How do I help Acid Reflux

Acid reflux (GERD) why do we get it, and how do we help stop it?

The human body genuinely wants to find balance, in all forms -- GERD or acid reflux is simply a result of a long-standing pH imbalance. When too much acidic food is consumed, the stomach can not digest it completely. The excess undigested food then turns into acid waste, which causes stomach spasms or twitching leading to an increase in stomach gas. The gas increases and forces open the valve between the esophagus and stomach allowing stomach acid to retreat into the esophagus.

If you can take a moment to imagine a garbage can vs. a compost pile.. have you ever watched the rate at which live food metabolizes?  Have you ever seen your trash after a week of piling garbage and processed foods into it?   The live raw vegetables and fruit will metabolize, flatten out and become a useful gardening fertilizer where as the toxic garbage and processed foods will remain unchanged and if left over a period of time will spill over the top of your can.  Without the proper balance of live alkaline foods to help metabolize your a acidic high in protein foods your body will become overloaded and overwhelmed spilling over creating acid reflux.

For both immediate and long-term survival, the body must maintain balance between acidity and alkalinity. In fact, the link between dietary pH balance and various health issues has been recognized by physicians since the early 20th century.  Recently studies have shown that our protein intake has increased substantially, primarily due to the wide availability of protein that is available on a daily basis. Since protein is now a significant component of most meals, the bulk of the current American diet consists primarily of foods that leave an acidic residue within the body. This occurs when food is metabolized and broken down, leaving certain chemical and metallic residues which yield either acid or alkaline potentials of pH for the body.

Acid reflux sufferers know the importance of drinking water to stay hydrated, but most have never considered that water that is highly alkaline, with a pH of 9.0-the highest can be 100 times more effective in neutralizing acid in the body than ordinary bottled water.  Drinking distilled water and adding Trace Minerals 'Concentrace' can help your body achieve better alkalinity.

Why Probiotics?

Probiotics - Mircrobial reinforcements
Under normal conditions our guts are teeming with healthy micro-organisms that serve to promote digestion, nutrient absorption, and immune system functioning.  Stress, dietary changes, intestinal infections, and many pharmaceuticals, especially antibiotics, can deplete our natural reserve of healthy microbes.  Probiotics are live microorganisms (also known as friendly bacteria) that helps our natural intestinal microbial defense system.  Live-culture yogurts are ok but they have a lot of sugar and the sugar can be another barrier to overcome.. so this is not the best source for probiotics, you can also find it in Kefir, kimchi and sauerkraut.  Because our bodies need to maintain healthy doses of good bacteria in order to keep our immune system strong it may be something to consider... the best over the counter one that I have found and use is NATREN "Healthy Trinity".

Prevention or Cure

The majority of people wait until a symptom presents itself before they feel it is worth doing something about it, what if you could eliminate or reduce any potential symptoms from occurring?  Generally, symptoms are an expression of your body telling you that something is not in balance.  Balance after all is the key. When your body is alkaline, disease can find no place to call home.

For many including myself this has become our cure.  What does it mean to be alkaline?  How can it help your symptoms?  Alkalinity is referred to as the pH, it is determined by the concentration of Hydrogen ions in a substance such as water, blood or food. On a scale from 1 - 14, a pH level of 7.0 is considered neutral, 7.0 downwards is increasingly acidic and upwards of 7.0 is increasingly alkaline. Our bodies are alkaline by design and acidic by function and we need both. The human body has adapted to two types of digestion, alkaline for starches and acid for proteins, but true health lives in an alkaline state.

Good health needs a balanced equilibrium and this is achieved by maintaining a basic pH balance of acid and alkalinity.  Edgar Cayce, was among the first to let us know that disease cannot live in an alkaline environment. Since then many studies have been conducted to document this as truth.  It is said that you can drink a lemon squeezed in your water every day can help you achieve alkalinity.
Any number of bodily fluids can have a small chemical fluctuation at anytime which may show a strong implication towards health or illness. For example a change of only a few degrees of body heat can cause severe sickness or even death.  PH balance has been identified by biochemists and medical physiologists as a one of the most important aspects of a balanced healthy body. A pH of 7.4 is considered desirable for the human body. A drop in blood pH level to a reading of 6.95 can lead to serious health risks, such as coma or death.

Prevention can be better than a cure.  Saying you are what you eat really has more meaning than once first thought, just ask Thomas Edison who said over 100 years ago, "Doctors of the future will prescribe no medicines, but will prescribe food and will interest their patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease."

When the body is alkaline the body is given the maximum opportunity to perform at it's highest capacity.  To achieve this daily it is best to follow a nutritional plan that includes fresh, raw organic vegetables and fruits.   Dark green and orange veggies have the highest nutritional value. Research indicates that phytochemicals from cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage and cauliflower, as well as turnips and kale support the detoxification processes within the body.  Be sure that your diet contains adequate protein to supply the building materials necessary for tissue repair.  For animal protein, free-range or organically raised meats and poultry or wild game are our best choices. Fresh fish is also an excellent source of protein.

The best way to help your balance is to eat a variety of foods and rotate your selections so that you can stop any reactions that may happen from specific foods. Water is very important to help flush wastes and toxins out of our body. You should drink at least 8 -10 oz glasses of distilled water each day, make sure to add 'Concentrace' by Trace Minerals to help replace essential minerals that can assist your body with alkalinity. If you don't feel that you can drink that much plain water everyday, green tea, herbal teas or squeeze a lemon into your water and this will give you variety plus an excellent source of even more antioxidants.

To stay alkaline avoid... Carbonated drinks, sugar, processed foods, over eating acidic foods

Beating the common cold naturally

Many times I've been sick in the past from the common cold until I learned how to beat it naturally.  I have helped countless people get thru their symptoms with this formula and one of my best cases was a little story about my roommate.

Every fall and spring my roommate would first show signs of a cold with the coughing and sneezing, then that would turn into bronchitis which would eventually turn into pneumonia.  This process generally lasted 3 very painful weeks and included alot of hacking and nose blowing.  He did the below formula and has added "Calm" and "Fenuthyme" to his daily regimen upping his intake of Fenuthyme when seasonal allergens present themselves and has experienced 3 seasons without any further battles.

Below is a formula that I take as soon as I feel anything trying to take a hold of me.  In the past I've only needed to do this formula for the duration of "The Wellness Formula" then I stopped using the formula.  Now I too take "Calm" and "Fenuthyme" as a preventative and have changed my diet to eliminate all sugars, grains and dairy.  Also when the seasonal  allergens are present, I have added "Nettles" as an all natural anti-histamine.

Crucial for Wellness quickly:
Take as directed: (unless otherwise suggested)
