Fighting for Energy

Many ask me what I use to keep my energy up and how do I recharge after I do cardio.   For me what has proven to work is to eat a teaspoon - or - tablespoon of coconut oil (organic  and extra virgin) in the morning and right before a workout or anything needed more energy from me.  I have also found that this is the best way to start my day:

AM - 1 lemon squeezed in water (distilled with concentrace minerals added)
AM - Power Green Shake -

 PREJUICE:
  • Kale
  • Brocoli
  • Tomato
  • Carrot
  • Raddish
  • Celery
  • Turnip root
  • Grapefruit (1)
  • 1/2 banana
  • Ginger (1 small chunk)
  • Sprouts (handful)
ADD:
  • Jarrow Unflavored Whey (1scoop)
  • Trace Minerals Liquid Multi (follow directions for 1)
  • Kelp powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Alfalfa powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Hemp Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Spirulina (1 teaspoon or 4 tablets)
  • Stevia (liquid vanilla add 4 drops)
  • Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
TIP: After workout 1/4 cup of coconut juice (pure, organic, no added anything)

Sweet Potato Pancakes

SWEET POTATO PANCAKES

A dairy free, gluten free meal

1 Large Sweet Potato (soak in water for 24 hrs then blend in a food processor)
2 Eggs
1 Dropper of Liquid Vanilla Stevia
1 tsp of cinnamon
A splash of nutmeg
A splash of cloves
A dash of ginger
A tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of coconut milk

Mix all of the above in a bowl until creamy add more coconut milk if you need to thin the batter out.   Smear coconut oil throughout your pan and heat to medium.   Pour the size pancake you'd like to create and let it cook on medium to low heat, cover for a few minutes and flip when it appears to be cooked most of the way thru.  These pancakes take a little bit longer to cook so stay patient they are worth it.

When they appear to be cooked all the way thru put them on a plate, add smart balance, fruit and 100% pure maple syrup .  There you have all natural Sweet Potato pancakes

My Magic Pill is Alkalinity

My Magic Pill is my nutrition.  Live food - Live body.  By balancing your foods you help your body achieve its maximum potential.  By making the switch to an 80% alkaline and 20% acid diet my life has completely changed....I lost weight... I no longer have allergies, medications, headaches, endometriosis pains, knee pains, diabetes type 2 and  chronic fatigue.  I'm now feeling better than I have ever felt and it's all from learning about food and how by eating the right foods you can heal your life.

Adopting a diet that allows for closer to 80% Alkaline foods and 20% Acid foods can help you regain PH balance as well as help address a number of health related issues.  Some items below have been shaded as 'AVOID' = these are food items I have chosen to avoid.  To learn more about why we should avoid "Grains, Beans & Potatoes" click here to read the article.

Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes

PALEO PUMPKIN PANCAKES

2 cups Almond Meal
4 tblsp of Chia Seeds

2 tblsp Coconut Oil
2 cups Pumpkin filler(Raw or Organic)
2 Eggs
1 cup of Coconut Milk (Thai Condensed)
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground Ginger
1/4 tsp ground Cloves
1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Dropperful Liquid Vanilla Stevia or 1 tsp of Stevia powder (Liquid tastes the best)

Prepare a Stainless Steel pan with coconut oil and set heat to medium.  Mix ingredients in a bowl until contents are smooth and creamy.  Pour contents into preheated pan to the desired size. Do not cover, Let each pancake sit in the pan until you see that it appears to be solid.  Be careful not to over heat your pan these pancakes take a little bit longer to form so lower heat is best.  Be patient.  When ready flip. The second side takes less time to form.  Serve when cooked throughout.  The Chia seeds and eggs help to keep it together; however, don't be surprised if it breaks easily.

Add Health Smart butter and serve with 100% pure maple syrup or without if you are trying to avoid any sugar.

Enjoy a Gluten Free, Dairy Free & Sugar Free breakfast packed with great proteins, fiber and vitamins.

Teccino the other coffee drink

Are you a coffee drinker who can not live without your coffee fix?  Teccino is an awesome solution for those who want the coffee fix without the damage it does to their bodies.  The best part about Teccino is that it tastes like coffee but does not contain any caffeine, or any acid.  It is actually an alkaline drink that is packed with other beneficial nutrients.

My husband loves his coffee, can't live without the hot drink, so I decided one day to switch his coffee with Teccino.  For 2 months he drank Teccino and during this time he never knew that it was not coffee.  One morning he was complaining about the acid in his stomach and blamed it on too much coffee... I started laughing and could not stop and finally I blurted out it can't be the coffee, must be the sugar because you've been drinking an alkaline coffee drink now for 2 months.  He was shocked that he could not tell the difference.  To this day he is still a Teccino drinker.

If you love your coffee, you'll love to know you can have it less the acid and caffeine anytime you like when you make a cup of Teccino.
